Notifications keep you in the loop on what's happening across your orders without having to chase things down. You control exactly what you hear about and how.

Leaving a notification

There are two places in Building Swell where you can leave a comment and tag teammates.

Order Details

Open any order and click the Discussion icon to open the comments panel. Type your message and use @ to tag a specific teammate. They'll receive a Mention notification.

Planning

Each planning task has a comment icon directly in the row. Click it to open the comments for that task and leave a note or tag someone.

Accessing your notifications

You can access your notifications from two places.

The bell icon — click the bell in the top right corner from anywhere in the app to see your notification feed.

Order Details — notifications tied to a specific order also appear in that order's Discussion panel.

Navigating to notifications

Go to Settings > Notifications to manage what you're notified about.

Tips

Notifications are off by default. Enable each one individually from Settings > Notifications.

Use @ in a comment to tag a specific person.
